OUR ROOMS

CAPTAIN MORGAN ROOM

Dedicated to a dear friend who lent his talents as a Master Stone Mason & Brick Layer during the McKibbon House’s renovations. The largest room with a King bed and a private sitting area alcove, along with a chest of drawers for your personal effects. This room is on the southeast side of the home so plenty of morning sunshine if you wish.

CARRIAGE ROOM

The mode of travel, in rural Ontario throughout the late 1800’s – when the McKibbon House was built – was the inspiration for this room. Located on the southwest side of the home, you get the early morning sun to gently nudge you awake. This room offers spacious vaulted ceilings, pullout drawers under the bed and a deacon’s bench – for plenty of storage.

EMPORIUM ROOM

This room was inspired by its name’s sake – The Emporium which is located next door to the B&B. A general store that was built by the dry goods merchant of the day (McKibbon) he traded and sold goods in Milford’s village through the Emporium and traveled to the port in Picton for delivery of his merchandise. A framed and dated bill of lading hanging on the Picton Harbor Inn Restaurant wall is a testament to this commerce. This is the second largest room and is on the northeast side of the home, with late afternoon sun if that’s your preference.  Lots of space in the pull-out drawers under the bed and a cozy table and chairs complete this room.
